Members of the Jewish community in Bridgeport say they approve of Pope Francis' visit to the United States.

Although the pope is the spiritual leader of the world's Catholics, who number more than a billion, followers of other denominations and religions say his trip has had an impact on all religious communities.

Rabbi Amy Levin, of Congregation Rodeph Shalom in Bridgeport, says the pope's main talking points -- on immigration, poverty, education and the environment -- resonate with her and the members of her synagogue.

"No matter what your beliefs are, you can incorporate into those beliefs the universal good will that he's trying to bring," she says.
