Some parents in Weston are concerned after the district?s intermediate school confirmed recent cases of lice.
Principal Mark Ribbens says the school confirmed four cases of live lice as of May 9. He says the students were in separate classes. Ribbens adds that the school notified those students? peers about the situation.
According to Ribbens, district procedure is to send home students with live lice, but those with eggs are allowed to stay in class.
The district superintendent recommends that parents report lice as soon as they discover it on their child.
