A winter storm will pass off to our south brining a nice coating across the area. This won't amount to much snow, but with temperatures just below freezing before dawn, this coating could become slippery. Untreated surfaces will see the snow stick and could be slick before temperatures rise above freezing in the afternoon. The winds will start to pick back up in the afternoon, but they won't be as strong as the ones we saw the last several days.
It was so nice to not have those stronger winds yesterday and with temperatures in the lower 40s, it felt great. Colder temperatures today by a few degrees but temperatures will recover nicely in the afternoon, but it won't be as warm as it was Friday. Look for highs to reach the middle 30s. It becomes a little breezier through Saturday night. The winds will relax again tomorrow. The winds will take a brief break but return with the cold air later next week. There is a risk of flurries with the clouds on Tuesday. The cold winds later next week will make it feel like the teens during the daytime and single digits at night again.
