Danbury police have identified the pedestrian killed after being struck by a car Saturday night as Diana Malla.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Newtown and Eagle roads. Malla was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
Authorities say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
