A person had to be rescued from the woods in Shelton after jumping 25 feet into a swimming hole Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened at one of the waterfalls in Indian Well State Park.

Firefighters say they had to clear downed trees to carry out the victim.

There's no word yet on the severity of the person's injuries.
