Protesters hand-delivered a signed petition Wednesday to the office of U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara demanding a federal investigation into the death of a Bronx teen killed by police.
Ramarley Graham's parents, Constance Malcolm and Frank Graham, were joined by hundreds of supporters for a press conference in Manhattan before marching the petition, with more than 33,000 signatures, directly to the Department of Justice.
Graham's loved ones say they have heard nothing about the case since the department agreed a year ago to look into it. They're now calling for a response within 30 days.
There have already been two failed indictments against Officer Richard Haste, who is accused of shooting the unarmed 18-year-old inside his Wakefield home back in 2012.
