An Associated Press photo released this week shows state Rep. Barbara Lambert (D-Milford) and state Rep. Jack Hennessy (D-Bridgeport) playing Solitaire on their laptops while House Minority Leader Larry Cafero (R-Norwalk) spoke about the proposed state budget.

Lawmakers say they usually keep laptops in the chamber during long sessions to access information about the topics. The photo was taken during a 13-hour session.

Cafero says he is not offended by the photo, but thinks many Connecticut residents may feel disappointed in the representatives.

Lambert was not available for comment, but Hennessy says the photo was taken near the end of the session and he was paying attention to the debate.
