A controversial proposal to demolish a building at a Stamford golf course goes before the city's Planning Board tonight.
The Stamford Golf Authority wants to tear down the 150-year-old farmhouse at Sterling Farms as part of a redevelopment plan.
They say the building, which houses a restaurant and offices, is deteriorating and expensive to maintain.
Members of a Stamford Preservation Program want the city to look into whether the building can be restored.
