Police: 13-year-old arrested for sharing threatening post on social media

Police say the 13-year-old male student shared a post suggesting other students stay home Friday because of what he might do.

Naugatuck police say they have identified a juvenile responsible for sharing social media posts that suggested a possible threat against a Naugatuck school.
Police say the 13-year-old male student shared a post suggesting other students stay home Friday because of what he might do.
The juvenile is a student at City Hill School.
He has been charged with breach of peace.
School districts and police across the nation were on high alert Friday after a TikTok trend threatening violence at schools.
