Police: 16-year-old Ansonia teen charged with felony murder in 2022 homicide

A 16-year-old from Ansonia has been charged with felony murder and is being detained on a $1.2 million bond.
Ansonia police say this arrest is in relation to the April 2022 homicide of Johnny Class, who was shot inside a car during an attempted drug deal.
The teen's identity is being withheld pending a transfer to Milford Superior Court.
Police say the teen is also accused of criminal attempt to commit murder and several additional charges.
This is the third arrest in this case.
