Police: 20 gunshots fired in Bridgeport; man hospitalized

A man was hospitalized after over 20 gunshots rang out in Bridgeport Wednesday night.
Police say they were called to the 1200 block of Park Avenue on reports that an individual had been shot just before 11 p.m.
Soon after, police say a 23-year-old man from Bridgeport showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound in his neck. He is currently in stable condition.
A woman who was in the area with friends at the time told News 12 she saw several people hop a fence and run after the shots occurred.
There is currently no word on any suspects or motive behind the shooting, according to authorities.
