Police: 23-year-old motorcyclist from West Haven killed in I-95 crash

A West Haven man died in a crash involving a motorcycle and truck on I-95 northbound in Milford.
The crash happened near Exit 39A just before 7:30 p.m. Friday.
State police say Victor Forbes, 23, was riding in the left lane when a SavATree truck drifted into his lane and forced him into the concrete barrier. He was thrown from his bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
State police say the truck driver showed signs of impairment and failed a field sobriety test. The driver is facing two charges and police say the investigation is still ongoing.
That portion of the highway was temporarily closed.
