Police: 3 people facing charges for selling illegal THC in Fairfield

Police say illegal THC products were found at Issam Plus, Mohegan Smoke Shop and World Smoke and Cigar Shop.

Fairfield police arrested three people after a series of smoke shop investigations on Wednesday.
Police say illegal THC products were found at Issam Plus, Mohegan Smoke Shop and World Smoke and Cigar Shop.
A large amount of illegal THC products, including vape pens, edibles and pre-rolls were being sold at those locations, according to police.
Police arrested Vivekanand Harilall, an employee at World Smoke and Cigar Shop, Issam Madineh, owner of Issam Plus and Tamer Nafaa, an employee at Issam Plus.
All three were charged with the sale of controlled substances without a license and possession of marijuana over 8 ounces with intent to sell or distribute.
