An Ansonia man is charged with promoting prostitution after police say a female was brought against her will to a Shelton hotel.

Police arrested Daqwon Graham Tuesday after responding to a complaint.

The victim was reportedly threatened and taken from a New London Hotel to a hotel in Shelton, where officers confirm Graham rented a room.

They say they believe adult escort services were taking place.
