Police: Armed Watertown man involved in dispute with neighbor

Watertown police say a man was arrested on Sunday after he got into a dispute with his neighbor while armed with handgun outside of his home.
The dispute occurred on Cobb Street, according to police. When officers arrived, the armed man went back into his home and police attempted to make contact.
Cobb Street was closed during that time but has since reopened. Police were able to make contact with the man and place him in custody.
Neither party involved has been identified.
Police say the area is safe.
