Police say five people were shot after a man opened fire into a crowd of people outside a nightclub in Downtown Stamford early this morning.
The incident happened in front of Tino's Nightclub, located at 84 West Park Place at around 1:30 a.m.
Stamford police say that 22-year old Dayron Wills, of Stamford, was responsible for the shooting. He was arrested earlier today.
Officials say a brawl involving about 20 people began in the club and spilled into the street. They say Wills, who has an authorized gun permit, used the weapon to open fire into the crowd, hitting the five victims.
Stanford police released a graphic video of the incident, and News 12 has obtained a copy of it.
Police say they have revoked Wills' gun permit and have taken the gun into their possession.
Wills has been charged with five counts of first-degree assault.
While no one was critically injured, the five victims were taken to the hospital.
