Three people in Norwalk have been arrested after police say they were caught with illegal weapons in two unrelated cases.
Police say the first incident happened at 89 Old Saugutuck Road at about 12:30 p.m. Friday when Jeffrey Vigil was arrested for allegedly having an AK-47 in his home.
According to authorities, the second incident took place on Connecticut Avenue when a couple was allegedly caught outside a Doubletree Hotel with a gun and knife. Police say they may have been waiting to threaten someone staying inside the hotel.
