Police in Stamford say a woman who was shot Thursday night was not the intended target.
It happened around 10 p.m. outside Lucy's Pizza on Stillwater Avenue.
According to police, three men targeted two other men who were at the pizza shop.
Police say the suspects fired 12 shots.
One of the bullets went through a window and a wall, and ended up coming out another wall at the market next door, hitting a  woman in the back who was working at the cash register.
Police say the suspects and the intended targets all left following the shooting.
While police try to track down the suspects, they are asking the public for any and all information that could be helpful.
Police say the victim is OK.
