Police: Bench stolen from Easton property

Newly released surveillance video shows a driver stop in front of a house on Everett Road around 5 p.m., check out a bench on the property and then eventually pick the bench up and load it into the car.

Police in Easton are asking people to be on the lookout for the person who stole a bench from someone's property Saturday night.
Newly released surveillance video shows a driver stop in front of a house on Everett Road around 5 p.m., check out a bench on the property and then eventually pick the bench up and load it into the car.
Officials say the car in the video seems to be a black Jeep Grand Cherokee.
A resident said the driver appeared to be a white man with a ponytail wearing jeans and a black jacket.
If you think you recognize the person or the SUV, give police a call.
