A Bridgeport man is being held on a more than $100,000 bond this morning after he was allegedly caught with an illegal gun and drugs.
Police say 26-year-old Raul Zayas was arrested on an open warrant yesterday following a brief chase on Capitol Avenue where he rammed a police car with his vehicle.
Investigators say they found crack on Zayas, and later found a semi-automatic handgun while searching his home.
Police say they've been working with state troopers to investigate Zayas in connection to a shooting in the city.
He's now facing both drug and gun charges.
