It happened Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. on I-95 North in Westport.
Police say an officer spotted the driver, Jose Ernesto Velazquez-Pastrana, drifting between lanes.
When he was pulled over, he allegedly admitted to drinking and then failed sobriety tests.
He faces charges including evading responsibility.
