A 25-year-old Bridgeport man is facing serious charges over the overdose death of a Brookfield man last August.

Police say Michel Hernandez sold “lethal narcotics” to the victim leading to his death. Police did not identify the victim.
Hernandez is now facing several charges, including criminally negligent homicide and possession with intent to sell a narcotic substance.
Bond was set at $50,000.
