State police say two people are recovering this morning after an early morning accident on the Merritt Parkway.
They say a car went through a guardrail and down an embankment at about 1 a.m. today near Exit 44 on the southbound side.
Police say both occupants were taken to the hospital.
The ramp was closed while crews used a tow truck to pull the vehicle out of the woods.
