Police: Convicted felon arrested, drugs and cash seized during search

A convicted felon was arrested in Stratford Thursday following a months long investigation, police say.
Omar Reid, 31, has been charged with illegal possession of a narcotics substance with intent to sell.
Police say the department's narcotics, vice and intelligence unit executed a search warrant on Catherine Street, with assistance from the Norwalk Special Services Division, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, the DEA Task Force, the Bridgeport Police Task Force and the Bridgeport States Attorney's Office
Authorities seized several grams of what they believe to be Fentanyl along with over $9,000 in cash.
Reid is being held on $100,000.00 bond.
He is expected to appear in court on Sept. 18
