Police say the driver responsible for a double fatal car crash in March was arrested Sunday in Bridgeport when police responded to a domestic dispute call.
The crash occurred March 6 on Pembroke Street near the intersection of Boston Avenue. A vehicle containing two women and two children was struck from behind by a 40-year-old man. Emergency response teams transported all victims to the hospital.
As a result of the crash, 4-year-old Noah Rodriguez and his 24-year-old aunt, Chelsy Naesha Torres were both killed.
A judge signed an arrest warrant for Solomon Valentine last week. He faces multiple charges including manslaughter in the second degree, operating under the influence and reckless driving.
