Fairfield police are searching for two men who stole camera drones from a Fairfield car wash.
Police say the incident happened at the end of last month at the Splash Car Wash on Kings Highway.
Surveillance video from the store shows two men approaching the counter. As one man talks to the cashier, the other takes two camera drones.
Officials say the drones are valued at $100 each.
The men left the car wash and then headed to CVS and Marshalls before disappearing, according to police.
"They did what's called a distraction crime," says Lt. James Perez, of the Fairfield Police Department. "One distracts the person or blocks the view while the other one literally took two drone helicopters that I presume they were selling."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Fairfield police.
