Police: Former Bridgeport resident facing charges for sexually assaulting 2 children in the 1990’s

Police said Rivera repeatedly sexually assaulted two young female children in the 1990’s.

Bridgeport Police released a statement on Tuesday about the arrest and extradition of a man they say sexually assaulted two children in the early to mid-1990’s.
Police said 58-year-old Luis Manuel Rivera, formerly of Bridgeport, was arrested in Patillas, Puerto Rico and extradited back to Connecticut on Nov. 6 to face charges on two outstanding sexual assault warrants.
Police said Rivera repeatedly sexually assaulted two young female children in the 1990’s.
Rivera is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 22.
