Bridgeport police raided a North End home after they say an officer stumbled upon several stolen items.
Investigators say they received a report of illegal dumping, but when the responding officer pulled up in his patrol car to 64 Woodrow St., a black sedan pulled out and hit the police vehicle.
Additional officers who were called to the scene raided the residence and found what appeared to be stolen electronics, car parts and other items. Police say they are working to determine if several cars parked in the driveway are also stolen.
Police say so far no arrests have been made, but they are forthcoming.
