Connecticut State Police have identified the truck driver killed in a crash on I-95 in Westport.
The crash happened around noon Friday near Exit 18 on the northbound side of the highway.
Police say 43-year-old Issiaga Toure was the only person in the tractor-trailer when it veered into the right shoulder, struck a highway sign and crashed into the Sasco Creek overpass. Toure died at the scene.
Fire officials tell News 12 they received help from the Fairfield and Norwalk fire departments to properly handle the situation. They don't believe any other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Traffic was backed up on both sides of the highway for hours as police cleared the scene.
State police say the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
