Police identify victims in Sunday crash that killed 4 on I-95 South in West Haven

State police say around 1:30 a.m. they responded to a crash involving a vehicle traveling the wrong way on I-95 South near Exit 42.

Four people are dead following an early morning crash in West Haven Sunday.
State police say around 1:30 a.m. they responded to a crash involving a vehicle traveling the wrong way on I-95 South near Exit 42.
Authorities have identified the four people that died in the accident as Husein Alili, Jolie Cierra Lubin, Samantha Pearl Birchard and Kyle Thomas Bulkley. Hardik Pankaj Parekh and Aditi Mody are identified as the victims that suffered serious injuries.
The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado was driving north in the southbound lanes when it collided into a Nissan Altima in the left lane.
As a result of the impact, the Silverado went into the center lane and collided with a Nissan Sentra.
The driver of the Silverado and the three people in the Nissan Altima were killed.
Their identities have not been released.
The two occupants of the Nissan Sentra were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
I-95 South between exits 42 and 41 was closed for several hours before it reopened just before 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
The collision remains under investigation
