Police: Large group of motorists breaking traffic laws in New Haven County

Police say it involves groups of riders from out of state bringing their vehicles to Connecticut and congregating in New Haven. The groups ride south along Route 1 until they arrive in Milford, then turn around and head back.

Drivers and local police say groups of ATVs and dirt bikes are a noisy nuisance in Milford, Orange and beyond.
Police say this happens almost every summer. They say it involves groups of riders from out of state bringing their vehicles to Connecticut and congregating in New Haven. The groups ride south along Route 1 until they arrive in Milford, then turn around and head back.
Milford police say they hope to arrest drivers who are breaking traffic laws. They released four photos of suspects on Facebook.
Milford and Orange police say they have proof of traffic laws being broken, but nothing more serious.
Police say to try and remain distant from these groups to stay safe.
