Police in Orange have arrested a man they say robbed a Home Depot then stole someone's car to get away.

Richard Abely is facing multiple charges, including robbery and assaulting an elderly person.

Authorities say Abely ran out of the store on Jan. 10 with stolen tools, then "violently" pulled a driver out of their car and took off before crashing the vehicle.

Police found the car in Milford and said Abley was arrested Tuesday.
