Stamford police say a man was fatally stabbed following a disturbance in a Montauk Drive home early Saturday morning.
They say officers originally responded to a report of a man causing a disturbance in a home and refusing to leave around 3 a.m.
On their way, police got another call from a woman saying she stabbed the man.
Officers found 50-year-old Welton Harris outside the home with a stab wound to the chest. He later died at Stamford Hospital.
Anissa Maples, 48, was charged with manslaughter. The two were previously in a relationship.
Officials are investigating if self-defense had any role in the incident.
