A man who was shot in the back Sunday afternoon could possibly be paralyzed, Bridgeport police say.
They say the 23-year-old victim was walking along Brooks Street when someone shot at him multiple times and hit him once in the back.
Police say after the victim was shot, he fell and hit his face on the pavement.
They say the victim is in the intensive care unit at Bridgeport Hospital in serious condition.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Bridgeport police.
