New Haven police say a man suspected in an early morning stabbing is dead.
Police say the unidentified suspect attacked his 21-year-old friend with a knife inside an apartment building near Yale University at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say the suspect then jumped out of a ninth-floor window and fell to his death.
The victim is in stable condition at the hospital.
Police are not yet identifying the alleged attacker.
