A wanted New Haven man is facing new charges after police arrested him in the Connecticut Post Mall parking lot.

Police say they recognized a car from the previous police chase.

They pulled the car over and arrested Kayvon McCoy, who they say had an active warrant stemming from a pursuit.

When police searched the car, they say they found ecstasy, counterfeit cash and a loaded gun.

McCoy is facing multiple charges, including criminal possession of a revolver and violation of a protective order.
