The owner of Big Sam's Roadside Services in Bridgeport is facing charges due to complaints he illegally towed vehicles.
Among his charges, Samuel Saunders is facing one count of vendor fraud and operating without a wrecker license.
Last fall police said vehicles were being towed at a complex for seniors and people with disabilities.
City Councilwoman Maria Pereira had said Saunders was "fleecing vulnerable residents."
Saunders told News 12 Connecticut he is innocent of all the charges and will be holding a news conference this weekend.
