Police say they've arrested a Fairfield man who attacked three people at a medical office after a doctor refused to examine him.
Fairfield police say 44-year-old Randy Spartachino punched a doctor in the face, head-butted a physician's assistant and slammed a nurse head-first to the floor Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the doctor refused to examine Spartachino because the man had previously gone to a pharmacy where he fraudulently claimed he had a painkiller prescription from Dr. Anand.
Police say the nurse was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport suffering from broken bones after the attack. Dr. Rahul Anand was treated for bruises.
Spartachino is free after posting bond on charges of assault and breach of peace.
