Police probe car wheel thefts in Greenwich, Stamford
Police say several cars in Stamford had their wheels stolen at a Prospect Avenue parking garage this morning. Stamford police say the same crime also occurred a few weeks ago on the city's south end.

Police say several cars in Stamford had their wheels stolen at a Prospect Avenue parking garage this morning.
Stamford police say the same crime also occurred a few weeks ago on the city's south end. Authorities in Greenwich are also investigating similar thefts at a garage on Steamboat Road.
Investigators say that the thieves remove the tires and rims, leaving the cars on blocks.
