A police pursuit ensued Sunday after an armed robbery in Trumbull, leading to the apprehension of three male juveniles.
According to Westport and Trumbull police, the suspects fled in a black Infiniti, striking another vehicle before abandoning their car and fleeing on foot. State troopers and Norwalk officers joined the pursuit, eventually locating the suspects and turning them over to Trumbull police.
The incident led to the closure of Saugatuck Avenue, where a firearm was recovered at the scene of the crash. The driver of the struck vehicle was transported to Norwalk hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, with charges pending against the three juveniles.
