A man was arrested for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, police say.
Officials say the attack happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home on the city's East Side.
Police say 41-year-old Eduardo Torres is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Investigators say Torres is related to the victim, who was sleeping over at his house when the crime occurred. They say Torres was sleeping in the same bedroom with the victim, but in a different bed.
News 12 is told the victim's sister, who was in the same bed with her, felt the bed moving. Police say when she checked on her sister, she found her pants were pulled down and then noticed that Torres's were unzipped.
Investigators say the child reported the incident and Torres was arrested.
Police say Torres's bond was set at $25,000. He is due back in court next month.
