Norwalk city officials say police patrols along Ely Avenue will increase in response to a number of violent incidents Saturday night and Sunday morning.
According to police logs, officers responded to five separate incidents in a span of just over five hours. During one incident, a 33-year-old Norwalk man was stabbed and remains in critical condition.
Police ask anyone with information about the incidents to call Norwalk detectives at 203-854-3011.
