Police say extra patrols will be out at several schools in Stratford and Bridgeport on Monday, but there is no credible threat to the schools.
It's all in response to what was thought to be a threat against Stratford High School, Wooster Middle School and Fairchild Wheeler Magnet.
Officials say local eighth-graders were group-messaging about a possible school shooting Monday.
Police say they investigated and found the threat to be a re-post of an old threat from out-of-state, but extra patrols will still be in schools to reassure students.
