Police continue to search for the suspect responsible in the death of a Monroe woman back in August.
Police have issued a warrant for her boyfriend Thomas Fischer, not in connection with her death, but for violating a protective order.
Police say Fischer had been found guilty of assaulting Sredzinski earlier this year and was not supposed to contact her, but the two had been living together at a Milford motel. Fischer turned himself in and went before a judge Tuesday, but his lawyer says his client denies any involvement in Sredzinski's death. Fischer is due back in court Oct. 1.
Jennifer Sredzinski was found unconscious by a dumpster in a private condo complex in Monroe and died three days later at Bridgeport Hospital. Friends say Sredzinski had worked as a dispatcher for 19 years at the hospital, providing emergency communications between first responders and emergency rooms.
