Fairfield police said this morning they're searching for a woman they say used stolen credit cards at a number of local businesses.
Police released a surveillance picture of the suspect.
They say the wallet containing credit cards was stolen from a car on Pequot Avenue in Southport earlier this month.
The suspect was captured on surveillance video at businesses in the area of Park Avenue and State Street in Bridgeport.
Police say the woman is in her 20s, has brown hair and was wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt with a red graphic image on the front and green lettering on the back.
They say it's possible she works in the Southport area.
