Police seek driver in New Canaan hit-and-run

New Canaan police are asking for the public's help to find the driver involved in a hit-and-run Sunday morning. Police say the incident happened on New Norwalk Road near Locust Avenue around 2:15 a.m.

New Canaan police are asking for the public's help to find the driver involved in a hit-and-run Sunday morning.
Police say the incident happened on New Norwalk Road near Locust Avenue around 2:15 a.m. as the victim was crossing the street.
News 12 is told the victim was taken to the hospital with head injuries and is expected to survive.
Officials say the suspect's car is a red SUV, possibly a Jeep, with a spare tire on the back. They also say the vehicle may have a New York state license plate.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Canaan Police Department.
