Police: Seymour woman stabbed man in the leg while in parked car

Police say Yessica Paola Jimenez, 49, stabbed the victim in their left thigh area while sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of 385 Connecticut Ave. just before 4:30 p.m. Friday.

A Seymour woman faces charges for stabbing a man in the leg during a domestic violence incident in Norwalk.
Police say Yessica Paola Jimenez, 49, stabbed the victim in their left thigh area while sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of 385 Connecticut Ave. just before 4:30 p.m. Friday.
The victim was taken to Norwalk Hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
Jimenez was charged with assault and is being held on a $500,000 bond. She is expected to appear in court on Monday.
