A Bristol woman opened fire inside the Bristol Police Department on Thursday in an incident caught on camera.
Bristol police and the Connecticut Office of Inspector General released surveillance footage of 51-year-old Suzanne Laprise entering the lobby around 11:30 p.m.
Police say she discharged multiple rounds while officers fired back. No shots penetrated the bullet-resistant glass of the office windows.
Laprise is now facing charges, including illegally carrying a firearm while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and illegal possession of a large capacity magazine.
The investigation is ongoing and Laprise is being held on a $3 million bond.
