Suspects accused of stealing from a car parked in a driveway, fired a gun into the air after a homeowner followed their vehicle in Bridgeport, police say.

Police: Suspected catalytic converter thieves fire gun in the air after homeowner tailed their vehicle
Suspects accused of stealing from a car parked in a driveway, fired a gun into the air after a homeowner followed their vehicle in Bridgeport, police say.
The incident happened Monday around 4:35 a.m.  
Police say a 911 caller told them they witnessed a person stealing something from their car, possibly a catalytic converter.
The homeowner scared the person off but decided to follow the suspect's car.
Police say the homeowner reported that the suspects began firing a gun into the air before their car was last seen headed on Route 8 northbound from Chopsey Hill Road.
