Police say inappropriate cell phone pictures could have had members of the Weston Middle School swim team in serious trouble.
Authorities say 12- and 13-year-old boys were fooling around in a locker room taking inappropriate photographs with a cell phone. A parent found out about the nude photographs and went to the police.
Weston Police Sgt. Matt Brodacki investigated the incident learning that the photographs were not shared or distributed. Brodacki also warned of the dangers of sharing cell phone pictures on the Internet, which has become a growing problem.
?We want to avoid a potentially tragic situation,? says Brodacki.
Board of Education officials in Weston say they plan to hold Internet and cell phone safety classes in May.
